gender

gender might be a problematic illusion and social construct, but it's one that i embrace. so it was kind of funny to see a response to an online feedback form addressed to me as Mr. busy busy busy. i've had a very social last week or two, which doesn't make any sense, because i have more work now than ever. made several new friends, drank on a weeknight for the first time, reconnected with some old friends. good times. went to chicago this weekend, twas lovely seeing the dickie. and austin and liz were visiting! i kind of stole dickie away from them, because, well, i'm selfish like that. i'm now reaching exhaustion with my school work - this endurance trial is tougher than i had imagined it would be. i'm 2.5 weeks into nonstop paper writing, and i have about two left -- i can do it! just gotta keep shuffling along. also, been thinking about this recently, but don't have time to write a big ol long thing on it. but let me just say: pretentious people are lame. meeting my study buddy in mudd(y), so i'm off. byeeee.
